Should I rent or bring my own board« on: August 27 2004 07:08:00 »
G'day...I'm going to the Phillipines from Dec to Jan, I heard the swell is alright at that time, is that everywhere or only some parts of the Phillipines.
Also I'm thinking is it better to bring aboard or rent one casue I'll be doing a lot of non-surfing travel too. How much does it cost to rent a board and are they alright?

wats up bro. well if your a real real hxc surfer. i would fly my boards down there. its kinda a lot of money. they told me(philippine airlines) that it was like 200 bucks per board. im thinking board bag probabaly. they dont check how many boards you have in it. when i went there, they had some boards for rent. they kinda suck thou. if you really dont care what you ride just rent them there then. save you a shit load of money. go ask the airline your riding on, how much they charge per bag. that would help. have fun

Fill us in once you guys get all the surfing info. I'm a beginner from BC Canada and haven't surfed in the Philippines. Going there in december and planning on doing some surfing. Would like to hook up with local and visiting surfers who can share some info and guide.
