try and get hold of Jeff at San Juan
and his brother is in Baler - on the other side.
i think for San Juan wetsands is fairly good. Baler is a bit different. I'm told the road is getting complete so travel from Manila is coming down from nine to 8, then seven, and maybe some day 6 hours. Then maybe someone will fix a better forecast.

Thanks for the heads up. great advice on the local reports. any thoughts on how el nino affects the surf here? on a regular year would the surf be more consistent and powerful? also, is there any spots close to manila that can really pick up and focus wind swell?
