Portugal September« on: July 15 2012 03:07:00 »
Hi I am going to be Europe in September and was thinking about a week of surfing in either Portugal or spain. Can anyone tell me how the waves are in Portugal in September and where are some good places to go that have a wide variety of waves etc
I will have a week so would like to stay to one area to maximize the amount of time in one place and to avoid heaps of travel.
Is September a good time to be surfing in Portugal?
Cheers in advance

If you plan to run away from crowded spots and find a wide variety of waves definitely Figueira da Foz.
At www.figueirasurfcentre.com they can help you with any questions you may have about the place. Even if you are not booking with them you will still get lots of local information.
