surfing in Portugal in January« on: January 02 2013 08:01:00 »
I am free this whole winter and am hoping to surf in Portugal in January. Where is the best place to stay and to rent a board? I am a Montana girl and have spent some time surfing in Costa Rica and Hawaii but am still a new surfer. I hope to meet some people to hang out and surf with!

Definitely go to Peniche, stay in one of the surf houses/hostels and take lessons (you'll progress faster and it's as cheap as hiring a board). Enjoy!
