Where in Portugal?« on: September 06 2013 00:09:00 »
Hey there i am a rookie surfer
had 4 days in morocco this summer, and want to go to Portugal this October. (the 13)
So i was wondering where would be the best to go?
I was thinking either:
Peniche or Algarve.
It seems like Algarve is warmer, but where are the best conditions?
Had some really onshore windy days in morocco in August, and i liked the wind-less mornings much more.
I only surfed 4 days, so i dont need "epic" breaks and i want to join a surf camp and take lessons!

Algarve has some fun breaks for beginners and intermediates, also warmer weather, Lagos and Sagres are nice towns.

Algarve is warmer, but Peniche AREA in October can be perfect! You have a lot of spots that work with all the winds! So you can take good waves every day... if you come around second week of October you can watch the best surfers because the world tour will be here! Is the SHOW!
