Advice for Portugal

Hi, I'm in Portugal for 2 weeks, Porto until the 11th then Lisbon until the 18th. I do some surfing back in Biarritz (emphasis on 'some'!) where I live and I'm looking to check out the surfing scence in Portugal. Any advice on where to go around Porto and Lisbon? Where can I rent boards? Is my 2:2 shorty wetsuit going to be enough? I have a car so I'm fairly mobile though I don't want to stray too far away from either town. And if there are any local surfers out there that don't mind me tagging along I'd really appreciate it! :-)
