Surf trip to Portugal« on: April 06 2014 18:04:00 »
Hi we are planning a surf trip to portugal in April - June for 7 weeks. We are coming form Australia and are a wife and husband and 2 kids (10 & 11). We are looking at buying a camper van and then selling it when we leave, has anyone got any advice on this? Also we will be camping mostly on the coast can someone tell me what we might expect to pay at a camping ground per night? Also do you think we should bring our own boards (have travelled overseas with boards before or is there a big market for second hand boards in Portugal. Cheers

try looking here http://www.standvirtual.com/autocaravanas maybe you'll find a good deal. If not, you can always rent a camper van. Talk to us portugalbyvan.com and maybe and see what we can do. Regarding other questions per night at a park can go from 30 euros a night up to 70, it depends on the park. About the boards for a period of 7 weeks you can always b a second hand board and then resell it or bring your own board. Rent seems like a bad business regarding the time you are planing to spend here.
