Ericeira VS La Peniche in august

Hi guys How are you  ?

We are planning to go surfing in Portugal but we have trouble to decide if we will go to la Peniche or ericeira !
We are complete beginners. i ve read a lots of materials about the two places and on one side I ve read that La peniche would be more suitable for our level but on the other side ericeira is closer to lisbon, it is bigger so it is easier to go out on evenings ...

What do you think ? Which city would you advise us to go ?
Please do not advertise on that thread
Thx you so much

Ericeira is a way nicer town, but Peniche has way better and more surf beaches for surfers  of all different levels.

Hi!
Why not Peniche, Ericeira and Cascais? On this way you can have a bigger surf experience where you will learn how to surf in different beaches, sleeping and eat in different towns during your surf holidays in a private transportation.

If this is something that you have interest, send us a e-mail to surftripsportugal@ride351.com or go to www.ride351.com.

All the best and good waves!

The waves in and around Peniche are great but Im not keen on the town its self. However I have only been in the winter when it might be quieter. I like the idea from the post above, do a bit of both...
