How does the surf go in February/March in Portugal?« on: December 31 2005 07:12:00 »
Ive been dying to drive from the UK down to Portugal to surf the Lisbon and also Algarve area. However, Ive had a lot of work, I was meant to go in November. Finally I can see light at the end of the tunnel and can go soon.
Just wondering, are the waves still good around February and March in the Algarve and Lisbon area? The 'cold' doesnt bother me.
Or will I have missed the prime season?

My self (virgin) and 2 female friends (one a beginner and one virgin) are thinking of visiting Lisbon in mid-march (17th or so) from Madrid. We hope the water is warm enough to go w/o wetsuits, but we would like more info. Thanks!
