public transport and board/wetsuit rentals around lisbon« on: January 14 2006 15:01:00 »
I'm thinking of flying to Lisbon from Northern California in late March. How easy is public transport to good beginner-to-intermediate surf spots and places to rent wetsuits and boards? I ride a 7'9" in San Francisco so would want to rent a board in similar size, not a beginner foam board. I don't want to bring my board on the plane because I'm planning on heading to Spain as well and don't want the extra luggage. What are my options

There are several public transports that stops right in front of the beach, one of them it is the train.
I have a surfschool that works all year in the lisbon area..If you want more information about our surfschool or renting surf material, just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or just check our website.
