Sagres in September / Ages in surf camps etc - 3 questions« on: May 30 2006 17:05:00 »
I'm thinking of going to sagres in september as Faro is the cheapest airport t fly to from Nottingham UK.
-- Is there enough surf for a beginner/intermedite in september/october in the south?
-- Thinking of buying a 5/3 wetsuit so i'm warm in UK waters. Is a suit like this actually too warm in portugal autum? or will i be glad for the extra thickness!
-- I'm considering going on my own and havent decided whether to camp and chill on my own or pay more and go to a surf camp to met people and get advice on my surfing but... What sort of age range do you get in these places? I'm 24 and i like a mix - but not too keen if everyone is gonna be 16-20. Anyone got a recommended Sagres one that might suit me?
Really appreciate any help you guy might be able to offer.

5/3? Hey Cousteau, are you planning on surfing in SCUBA gear? I don't even think you can bend in a 5/3.
