Karin, seems like you know surfing spots around Lisboa. I am planning to spend 2 weeks somewhere there in July or August. What would be the best spot for a 9-footer rider? I am looking for a remote location, with not too much people; just me, waves and ... TAke Care

I stayed at the peniche surf and kite surf center. it is very close to the beach and the guy who owns it joao is really tight. Ive gone on many surf trips and have never written about any where i have stayed before, but this guy makes you feel like one of the family. He even had me over for a BBQ with his family and bought us all beer. It was really neat.
For you beginners he also offers lesson with this kick ass old school longboarder that I surfed with.
