hey guys- im looking at staying in portugal for two months or so starting in mid-july (once courses in england are over) ive found a few flatshares in lisbon, but wasnt sure how far that is from the shore. can you bus it from the city with a board? should i look closer to the ocean? or look into a different city? thanks for the help. -nik

Best thing to do is to fly to Porto (opo) airport (raynair). Stay for a while...surf, visit CBD and party with its people. Then get a train to Fig foz and do the same...then lisbon and then algarve... perfect holiday in Portugal!!!
I´m from Porto and I can give u more info about that trip (travel arragements, places to stay, places to surf, and so on (for the whole trip).

I'm defn thinking about a surf vacay in portugal in august and would appreciate your help as well. I'm bringing the wife and two boys under 7, so can you provide any advice as to where we should stay...probably best if we don't drive around too much as the kiddos don't handle it well.
