renting surfboards on the coast around porto

we'r heading to porto in a month to surf the coast and dont know weather to bring our surfboards or not. Is there any one who knows if there's plenty of places to rent surfboards, and to what price ish. ?? Also any information about accomodation in the same area would be great...places to go out and maybe see...give it to us!

Thanx a lot! // j

I´m from Porto. Excelent surf, food, wine, places to visit and party. There are a few places to rent a board and people to show u around.

Let me know if u need more info!

Peace Out!

RE: renting surfboards on the coast around porto

Hi,

It's never easy to rent good boards. The best option, and the one I advise, is to buy one (or several) and then to sell them back before leaving. You can try to make a buy back deal with the shop (price depending on how good care you took care of) so you don't have to waste your last day looking for the best deal. Most surf shops are used to the buy-sell game. The best shops have a huge offering of boards.
