I recommend to you two places, a here next to Lisbon, for the zone of Sintra (Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs) and another good option it is the Algarve, SAgres, Carrapateira, Amado. These beaches, they have good waves and they are very nice
If you want more information, send to me a mail that will help you with great pleasure

You can find some good Surfspots in the West coast of the Algarve... the closest surf town is Sagres (about 40 west of Praia da Rocha).

Consolaçao is a good place to stay. In this area you find many waves (reef and beachbreaks), especially in September. Supertubos is close as well as some other 20 spots. Lots of sun and cheap beers. Leave a message if you want to know more!
