Hey folks, how is it to surf Portugal in November? Still possible or to cold? How are the waves then?

a 3/2 wetsuit is fine - the water never gets that cold in portugal. There should be plenty of swell around at that time of year, just make sure you go somewhere with a variety of beaches facing different directions because unless you're lucky the wind will be coming from the west. Peniche or Sagres if I were you.

Lisbon in this epoch has excellent conditions of surfing, everything depends on your level, but Ericeira, Praia Grande, Praia Pequena and Carcavelos has very good waves. I believe that in this epoch it is already necessary 4.3, because although the water is not so cold, the wind it is already, and you can last in the water, greatly more time.
If you want more information, send to me a mail, which will help you with great pleasure.
Take care

The water is actually warmer in the winter, the problem is the wind when you get out. You will need a wetsuit. The waves at that time of year are good around Carcavelos, Sao Pedro, Torre and a few other spots, all those are on the LIsbon coast. If you are thinking of heading down to the Algarve coast then you have places like Amado, Carrapateira and Arrifana. Hope it helps, let me know if you need any think else. Have fun
