RE: surfing trip in november

Hi Dave, November is Ok but not the best time, weather and water are colder but you still get the winter swells coming so you will have great waves. Lisbon has a huge variety of areas to choose from depending on swell and your level so, I think its the safest option for you at that time of year. Hope that helps, let me know if you need any more info. Glad to help :)

RE: surfing trip in november

Hi Dave
Novenber is the start of winter here in Portugal, but in 2007 we have lots of sun and good temperature but small waves.
The best option is to stay around Lisbon, because there are many and different spots around.
I have a little house to rent near Ericeira, the surf capital in Portugal, its +- 30 minutes from Lisbon, airport, Sintra, Peniche, Cascais and Estoril.
If you need more details to stay here or in other place, contact me.
Cheers,
√Člio

RE: surfing trip in november

Hello,
I have ben wondering about taking my son-a VERY enthusiastic, almost-16year-old surfer- to Portugal for a week at the end of October this year. Would your house be available? How big is it? How much would it cost?-and what would the surf be like? (and the temperature-for me-as I'll be huddled on the beach!)
Thank you,
Gill Kamali
