For weather, surf of all different varieties and different swell windows the south , Algarve, is the best.

September is a great month to go to Portugal - where to go in Portugal depends on what you're after in terms of crowds, culture, partying and types of wave. We need more info to help you otherwise we'll be here all day...or until KS tells you to go to Lisbon ;-).
