Trip to Portugal spring 2009« on: December 26 2008 19:12:00 »
I have been hoping to have a chance to surf Portugal since I was 15 yrs old.I finally have a chance to make a initial trip in late march 2009 and then make a longer trip in late October 2009. I plan on staying in Ericeira as a home base. I am traveling with my wife and want to stay in a nice but affordable place close to the surf breaks in Ericeira for the first trip. I have surfed around the globe and always travel as a solo surfer. Any advice as to accommodations and where to surf and where not to surf would be appreciated. I have lived in CA and Hawaii for many years and am looking to have a streamlined first go. Any cool places to stay with good surfers in the know would be appreciated.

Plenty of surf camps, as I see in the sponsord links above.
otherwise there's plenty of cheap home stays , little guesthouses in Ericeira / Peniche and Baleal.
