Lagos Surfing« on: May 27 2009 05:05:00 »
I'm booked into a hostel in Lagos for a week. I want to just go and find somewhere to book up some surf lessons when I arrive. Is this possible or are there on these Surf Camps available? Are there any good swells clost to Lagos town centre, or do you have to travel by car? Any hints, tips or advice would be really appriciated!

Surf camp ,"algarve surf school "run by sergio. One wave is in walking distance meraia praia dont know if correct spelling. It works, really easy fun wave but it has to blow hard from the south.Black Rock is in Luz 10min by bus look right up the north end of the beach and even if it looks small it should be good breaks over a rock shelf. In between here and sagres there are some good spots but you prob need a car otherwise go sargres and you have 3 good spots which work in all conditions.Sergio has a camp at carrapateira wich is the most consistant spot and only 20 min from Lagos.algarvsurfschool.com
