Renting good boards around peniche/ericeira

« on: April 28 2010 01:04:00 »

Everyone who's been traveling a bit with surfboards knows flying with them can be a pain.
I'm flying to Portugal in couple of weeks and thought I'd leave my board/boards at home if I'm able to rent a decent one from the spot. I'd probably have to pay about 50€ each way to travel with my own quiver so rental for 4 days could cost 50-100€ and it would still be worth it.

Does anybody here know places who would rent good variety of (real) surfboards around Peniche/ Ericeira area?
Thanks for the tips!

Just ask in the surf-shops or factorys, no problem, and also you can buy a board in second hand and sell it again when you leave.
If you need i know some guys in Ericeira, one has a surfshop and school, and the other works in a board factory and sometimes he has good second hand boards.
