Moving to Lisboa, should I bring a board or buy?

Hey, In a couple of months I'm moving from the East coast US to the Cascais area for a couple of years.  Should I bring a board/boards with me or get one there?  Basically, what would they end up costing after taxes?

Thanks,
A

Hei!

If you have you fav boards, bring them along, otherwise you can find all kinds of boards around here....
Prices range from 300eur plus for a new one, but you can find used ones for half that price..Or it's almost cheaper to have a local shaper make you one!
I'm from Cascais to, and I guarantee you, theres no shortage of shapers, surfshops, and nice waves!

Take care mate

Thanks for the reply, Nuno.  I definitely will find me a local shaper as soon as I land. Any recommendations are more than welcome.

For anyone else lurking around trying to find info on Portuguese shapers and what not this blog is pretty great:  http://www.magicquiver.com
