Best months for Albufeira ??

Hello,

When is the best season for riding some waves over there ??
I would like to rent 1 bodyboard and a pair of fins if possible for a week.
I'm going to stay at hotel baía grande. Praía de Coelha Apartado 1022 - Sesmarias, 8200-385 Albufeira

And some info about renting a car to go to other spots....

Thnx in advance.

Any Information about scoring some waves around that area would also be appreciated.

RE: Best months for Albufeira ??

Hi, I have been in Portugal and it was/is best fun in life ,,, I found this company they are awesome FUN !! They based in Portugal in the west coast 30 min from Faro airport .. You dont have to be pro to learn to but you will have an introduction and its so much fun... been last summer, my friends are there now and say its warm and sunny and I am taking my friends, parents and my kids next summer ... cant wait xo
They do lots of water activities in the ocean, lakes and rivers with accommodation, they provide transportation for and to everywhere and they are just a walk from the cliffs, beaches and stunning views. They work all year round and best prices ever!

Hey José,

Tough luck! Albufeira doesn't have that much waves unless the swell comes from South or  there is "Levante" winds coming from the South as well. Your best option is taking A25 (via Infante de Sagres) until Sagres which is on the SW coast of Portugal and just 60km from your Hotel.
