Working in Portugal

A couple of bros and i are planning a 3 or 4 month surfing trip this summer in Portugal, starting around mid may. We want to spend most of the time in Peniche and we're hoping to find night work there hopefully in a bar or night club. we have all had alot of experince in bar work.
Does any one out there have any tips or needs employes?
Is mid may leaving it a bit late to score the jobs?
Or is it more likely we would find work in a bigger town?
What we basicly want is good consistent surf and work!! The best of both worlds :)
Any help or ideas would be mint!!
Many Thanks!!
