Shetland Surfers

What's good one and all! Hope where ever you are the waves are pumpin!

Just posting here because I am moving up to Shetland tomorrow to start a new job up there and I was looking to see if there is a decent surf community on the islands? It'd be class to meet up with some folk who are up for showing a new guy the waves up in the islands. I have heard that Boddam and the various wee spots around Sumburgh are meant to be pretty good.

Im pretty new to surfing myself (only started in April) but I've been seshing some of the spots around Thurso when there has been anything in it through the summer!

Hope to hear back from anyone as I'm keen to step up my surfing now its coming up to autumn and the waves will pick up a bit!

Peace out,
