I am coming home from NEw Zealand in April and looking to head up to Thurso for a a while. Would be happy to share costs. I have been to thurso about a dozen times and know the area pretty well. I would be looking to meet in glasgow or edinburgh whatever suits.

was looking to go to scotland between May and April to thurso, but it seems that now it may be the easter break that I get up there.
I am australian and have ben surfing on and off in the UK for the past 4 years, mostly due to lving in manchester and also due to my lack of delight in cold water surfing. If I am to go to thurso in April how big is the swell likely to be and how cold is the water really? Are we talking 5/4/3 and still freezing your balls off? Scotland looks like such a beautiful part od the UK and I think surfing thier is an opportunity not ot be missed. Any advice about the swell and the cold?
