I have car trip share inveness.

« on: September 20 2004 12:09:00 »

Hi there,
I am living near Inverness with a car and want to surf to the east when its on.

If anyone is interested in lifts in return for petrol share, please get in touch via the e mail.

Preferably relatively sane people is a plus.

hey james. Im living in Inverness and am usually always up for it. It always tends to be better on the north coast but its a hell of a drive. Any time your thinking about it then let me know and we could take turns to drive, either east or north. I dont want to put my mobile number on this website, but my personal email address is Get in touch.

Also, what do you do, and where do you stay? Im a secondary school teacher, 27 years old.

Talk soon hopefully.
Cheers. Jamie.

I dont know, but on the north coast, Farr Bay is meant to be a good longboard spot, I went there in the summer and it was nice little wave and I think would be great when the stronger winter swells come in.

I am trying to get some people together for  a few days just before Xmas Day, and drive up there from Inverness. Lift share, petrol etc.

Anyone interested?

p.s. Does anyone exactly know what 'A Longboard Wave' really means? I mean, people used to surf on Pipeline on longboards, probably still do, Ive never been there!

Thanks James,
Where is Farr Bay from Dundee? I def looking at getting in the water boxing day, and will be doing a bit of a tour. Till around the 29th. So if you could let me know, that'd be great.

No such thing as a longboard wave really. The origional Endless Summer. Micky Dorra doing the pipeline in Hawaii, and Waimai Bay..Amazing.. A nice clean 2-3 ft is great for a longboard..
