surfing around st andrews bay

« on: March 14 2006 13:03:00 »

I am going to be in and around st andrews bay in early may. I was wondering if there are any surf shops in the area to rent a board/wetsuit from? also Is there any sort of public transportation to get to other beaches in the area, like pease? Thanks for your help!

Are you staying at the hotel -St Andrews Bay?
May is iffy for swell in St Andies, you may have to tavel a bit or beg a lift.
No really anywhere close to rent kit but bring a wettie/boots/gloves and there's a few locals about who'll give you a shot of a board. Have you surfed B4? What board do you usually surf?
