surfing inverness

« on: July 24 2006 09:07:00 »

I have moved up to inverness and am wanting to start surfing again after a long break. where is the best place to go? what are the north coast beaches like? Am looking for a beach break. Nothing too hardcore.

you should try Farr bay,
thats a nice sloping 'longboarders' wave on its day.

Lossiemouth is ok too but doesnt tend to get much swell now till autumn.

Waves on north coast should be small if there are any until autumn so no need to worry about size etc.
