i did a bit of boogieboarding up shetland could stand up only for short periods the waves up there r about 10 foot some really good surf spots

Hi, I'm about to move to shetland.  Have surfed all round  scotland over last 3 years, north coast, western isles, orkney, and moray coast.  Shetland new to me, would be interested to hear where you were surfing, there must be some breaks up there somewhere! Any local surfers around? Cheers Andy

lerwick has 2 excelent surf spots other excellent spot cant remember the name but thers a strip of beach leading 2 little island it has waves on both sides of the beach locals all know the strip of beach ask someone and they will tell u might b called st ninians

Hey there m8, iv just moved to st andrews and have been waiting for some decent surf for about a week! Forecast aint that good for this week but hopefully the autum swells might start kickin in soon, if they do i'll see ya in the water! p.s. u may need some lessons if u havent surfed before!

iv been going down coldingham for the last couple of weeks bigest waves have been about 8-9 feet didnt catch any them iv only stood up 5 times on 3-4 footers  its catchin the waves i struggle a bit with got told where i was going wrong cant wait 2 next go surfin was hoping 2 b surfin 2daymight c u up at st andys soon just look out 4 someone shit called boab
