New to area

Hi all,

Just moving to Scotland (Edinburgh) from the sunny South West, been surfing a 9'6 custard point and keen to start up here. See there's only 4 listed surf spots but imagine there's a couple of others - secret surfing an' all. Just after a little low down really. Times from Edinburgh to beaches, when to avoid etc.

Also have enduro motorbike so if any one knows any trailriders clubs in or around Edinburgh region would be grateful for contacts..

RE: New to area

Yo chris your prob looling at around 30 - 45 min drive to some of the better beaches around Edinburgh. Have you got a car?
I used to have many crossers but the problem with Edinburgh is that they're building everywhere. You'll find a track near Livingston.... also a little place near Broxburn. If you want exaxt directions hook me back and I'll help ya oot.

Welcome and enjoy
