Surfing Scotlands West Coast

The swell charts on magicseaweed.co.uk look to be coming good Tuesday, Wednesday next week for the west coast.  I live in Greenock and I am hoping there is somewhere closer than Machrihanish to get a surf?

I was looking on the map and I was wondering if there any little pockets of secret spots dotted down by Girven or Ballintrea?

I would appreciate anyones insight into this...as I really can't travel 4 hours to Mach!

RE: Surfing Scotlands West Coast

This is scotland we are talking about...I have seen more surfers in one weekend at freshwest than there is up here altogether!

Every spot is like a secret spot in terms of crowds...get over yourself...if you aint got something constructive to say...then say nothing at all is the best policy!

If you could read, you would see that i didnt say I wouldnt travel I said I couldnt! see the difference there...simple stuff really! 4 hours travelling, week day...gets dark early c'mon now use what loaf you have been blessed with!

I will find breaks...going travelling tonight...looking forward to running a few kooks over that respond with shit like this!

Looking for surf spots in Scotland ?
