Starting a Christian Cape Town Surfing club - interested?« on: December 01 2006 02:12:00 »
Hi - all Christians interested could respond here.. if there's a good response - I'll respond. Club will provide weekend transport, food to local spots for beginners and intermediate surfers for a fee (I am not rich!!!!). It is a church strategy for our young people. No swearing or other similar inappropiate behaviour......!

Hi, I'm a beginner surfer living in Gauteng for the moment but hoping to move to the Western Cape next year. I love surfing and love the Lord even more. I have come to learn that one should do all things to the glory of God. I have a dream of reaching other surfers with the Gospel. Breaking the culture so as for them to start experiencing joy in abundance by bringing glory to Christ through their surfing. I know I cannot physically be part of this club due to my geographical seperation, but would like to be a sideline supporter for now. Albert Coetzee

Jesus was the very first Hippie. Notice that he had the Long hair, the beard, and the laid back atittude. He taught a new idealistic religion to Isreal, And traveld with his diciples to spread his religious views. I'm not saying that I don't believe, but I'm telling you that in that day, That was considered very non conservitive, and radically modern. Which is why the Jews,Had him cruxified. Sure ?!!! they killed the one man, that was actually not a threat to anyone. All because he had different spritual view and he was influincing others. Ejy do we outcast what we don't understand ?

Hey my beautiful surfer friend!
You are so right - Jesus loves you...!
Hippies need substances to get high - Jesus does not. Jesus carried the sins of the world - He was not laid back. He did not teach a new idealistic religion, He taught Judaism - its old man! He did traveled thru'out Isreal. You should believe because He's so Wonderful, so very cool and died for us
He made the Pipe and JBay for you and me..I just love that Saviour - Hey JESUS - I love you!!!!

You know what.........., for a poor carpenter from Nazareth, without any real people connections, no education, no money, no good looks, not even His blood brothers or sisters undestood who He is or where he came from. He never surf the Pipe of His day or got into the cover page of a Surfer mag, no sponsors for Him man, no ratings at all......His Kellys spat at Him, he was dispised by us, there was nothing that He had that we wanted, no barrels, nothing man! A Nobody, a kook..............YET HE STILL BOTHERS US THAT HATE HIM AND US THAT LOVED HIM 2007.....why? BECAUSE HE IS WHO HE SAID HE IS....HE IS THE "Before Abraham was, I AM."

And notice how, at the time of writing, 277 people still want to read about Him...and some say He is dead. Anybody talking about other world leaders like the above mail?
