Alina -that's our winter time. You will find cold days with rain and waves up to 65 feet at Dungeons. As you are learning go to Muizenberg - probably the slowest, safest wave on the planet - but ask the locals about the sharks on the day. Use your browser to search for CT waves - its well documented and all there...CT is a peninsula with +-55 bays, reefs, point breaks - but you need Muizenberg, the wave is in slow motion man!
