It's definately not the best time to come, as well as the wind the swell can drop and be really small. That being said, if you time the tides and get to the spots with really good banks you can score some fun waves. I run a surf and travel business based south of Durbs and there are some really sheltered points down this way, so even when the Cross shores are pumping we get some epic waves.
