Surf conditions in Durban during November

« on: August 08 2007 15:08:00 »

How are the conditions for weather and surf in Durban during November.  I have heard it can be windy and that there are rough conditions in the watre like Jellyfish etc...any info on this would be great.

It's definately not the best time to come, as well as the wind the swell can drop and be really small. That being said, if you time the tides and get to the spots with really good banks you can score some fun waves. I run a surf and travel business based south of Durbs and there are some really sheltered points down this way, so even when the Cross shores are pumping we get some epic waves. Contact me if you want to know some places you should try.
