Surf in San Sebastian area« on: May 27 2012 03:05:00 »
I am wondering whether there are affordable ways to surf in San Sebastian, I am heading there the 4th of june until the 12th and I think surf camps is a bit too expensive for me, and in addition, I am 25 and not really keen on 'partying every night with sangria' midst the 18 year olds. I will arrive at airport bilbao and I just want to surf somewhere where the waves aresuitable to beginners, but not absolute beginners ( I am surfing for a year now, mostly in Holland but also recently went for a week to Marocco). I need the quiment en some accomodation somewhere from which it is easy to get to the beach as quickly as possible. Also it would be fun to meet some people to surf with :) also to show where it is the best to get in and such. :D
Well, looking forward to some responses.
Puedo hablar espanol tambien!

Elise- You should check out Airbnb.com. A company that assists in renting rooms, apartments, etc. around the world. You can join specific groups on the site, such as "surfing" and they guide you to like minded hosts in that region.
