Looking to live in southern Spain« on: October 31 2018 03:10:00 »
I’m an beginner/intermediate surfer looking to live in Spain for 3 months from January-March 2019. I’ve been hoping to find a spot that I can basically surf everyday in any kind of wave just to continue improving my surf and feel more comfortable out there. Any suggestions for places in south Spain that I can potentially find a small, cheap apartment close to the water to surf every day!? Looking to link up and make friends along the way as Well!

I think you have 3 choices:
1. Canary islands - should be the most consistent swells (should be great)
2. North of Spain - variety of places and consistent swells (cold as hell)
3. South of Spain - less places and not so consistent swell (Cadiz area)
Portugal would also be a great place, if it's an option.
Full disclosure: I'm no expert in the field, but I just moved to the south of Spain for the same reason (work and surfing combined)
