San Sebastian or Biarrittz?

Hey there, I'm off to the South of France/North of Spain for a week at the end of April and was wondering if anyone could give me any hints on learning to surf in the area...I'm a beginner and will be travelling on my own so would be keen to meet up with like-minded folk. Hope you can help!
