I grew up surfing in California & Hawaii and have surfed Morocco. I'll be visiting my daughter in school in Alicante and plan to surf the Cadiz area a few days in April or May. I'm not bringing a board over. Are decent boards for rent? I like longboarding and shortboarding.

Good morning, I was wondering if you found a good rental board place because I am looking for the thing for a March trip.
Does anyone else anyone has the information about good rental board in the Cadiz area (or anywhere in Andalucia).

Aloha, I'm coming from Hawaii and also looking to buy 2 shortboards near Cadiz. Where in Spain is the cheapest place to buy boards? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

There are a few shops in Cadiz and also the Algarve is just a few miles north/north west, which I should think sells lots of boards.
I took my board to Andalucia. Outside Cadiz, there isnt much. A few shops in Conil which sell boards im not sure how much for though.
If you want to rent boards, try local surf school or ones in Algarve,
ie fly to Faro and hire a car and board there and drive south.
Hope this helps James.

Also, I would check Im not sure if the waves are in cadiz area April/May but there should be some in Portugal.
I surfed in Andalucia in winter months, nice clean waves for Europe in winter. In El Palmar but didnt bother with Cadiz.
