playa del ingles is a very very tourist area but it is not easy to find places to rent a boards ithink it could be possidle to find some where they rent jetskis on the beach but i presuume they willbe a bit crappy. if you are really looking for waves you better go to the nort side of the island and buy a second hand board or ask if it is possible to hire it will not be more expensive considering that the north is not where tourist goes.in the city of las palmas there is a beach very nice for starters and there are a few shops to get second hand boards very close to this beach colled "la sicer

".normally playa del ingles is very crowded of tourit wich does not help to learn.if you are planing a surfing hollyday better try the north specially that beach, dont worry about classes there are waves there and lot of people to ask some cuestions and allways keep your eyes open thats the way we all learnt it.good luck and try to move arround the island it has nothing to do with playa del ingles

Okey, thanks for you help! We havn't planned to go on a pure surfing vacation.. Just that we wanted to try it out to have some fun.. We planned to spend maybe 3 days to try to get a grip of the suring teqnique and so..
All of us are beginners so we're not desiring to have any huge waves or so.. :) Im not sure if we're able to get to the northern parts since it will take quite some time, but going to Las Palmas would be quite easy. If im not totally wrong it just takes about half an hour on the freeway.
The beach you talked about, "la sicer", are there good communications to that beach? (Like with bus) Or should you try to take a taxi? Just want to be a bit prepared until we travel :)
Once again, thanks for you help!

Hey guys! I live in Maspalomas and I would sell my second hand surfboard. It´s a 6.10 fiberglass board. (used)
I love it but I´m leaving and I can´t take the board with me.
