Aussie visiting in Nov wanting to hook up with local« on: March 01 2005 20:03:00 »
Im traveling with my wife and 2year old son around western Europe for about 3months and we are staying around Santander for 2weeks.I wont be traveling with a board because that will probably be the only part of our trip that I will get a chance to go surfing.I wanted to know if there was anybody in that area who might rent me a board and show me some good spots (where I wont get beaten for being a tourist) I'm 30 and have been a surfer all my life so I know how heavy localism can get.I've never surfed overseas before but have snowboarded in a few countries.I've been living closer to the mountains than the coast the last few years so snow has been my greater passion.I also skate a bit too.If there was anyone there who was willing to help me out I'd be more than happy to return the favour and make a new traveling friend at the same time-cheers Shane.
