READ THE POST BELOW, YES THERE IS SURF ALONG THE MALAGA COAST, BUT I THINK YOU HAVE TO BE PREPARED TO TRAVEL TO LOOK FOR IT IF THERE IS NONE AROUND MALAGA, WHICH IS NORMALLY TYPICAL MEDITERRANEAN "FLAT" BUT I WAS LUCKY AND HAD GOOD BEACH BREAK SURF, HIRE A CAR & GO LOOKING, PARKING IS GOOD, EXPENSIVE IN PUERTO BANUS BUT CHECK THE SURF BEFORE YOU PARK OK, THERE ARE PLENTY OF HOTELS & HOSTELS IN MALAGA, eg HOTEL CARLOS V ,CALLE CISTER, IS ABOUT 29 EUROS A NIGHT,& 4 DOORS DOWN FROM MY PERUVIAN SURFER FRIEND CHRISTIAN. HAVE FUN! PAULA :-)
