SURFING IN SPAIN IN JULY« on: March 06 2005 05:03:00 »
I'm organising a holiday away with some friends at the beginning of July and I really want to be able to go off and surf and leave the ladies to sunbathe - can anyone recommended anyway where I'll get some decent waves? It doesn't even have to be in spain - as long as it's somewhere warm!
Thanks a lot

sounds like you should go to barcelona. theyve got gud surf, beaches for the ladies´ sun bathing and a cool nightlife too.
i recommend you try the welcome inn hostel, its a great place to stay, chilled out atmosphere, sun terrace in the back with room to leave the boards and get high.
its really good value - a double room for around 35-40 euros per night.
their email address is welcome2barcelonaATgmail.com or you can call +34 620 682 682, ask for steve
if youre coming in a group, they also offer apartments in the city centre that can accommodate up to 8/10 people. that brings down the price to maybe 12 euro per person for a damn cool pad in the centre of the old town!
anyway, i suggest you check it out.
