Plan on going around the whole coastline. From portugal up to France. Are the waves still ok?

probably going from Lisbon and follow the coast up to Mundaka, then further to the beachies of france. I heard the waves are really good south of Lisbon so might head down that way for a bit. What are your thoughts? Is the water still warm? What are your thoughts for a trip like that?
