Appreciate your comments and sharing of experience regarding taking surfboards with Iberia Airlines IF YOU FLEW WITH THEM .... I heard very bad feedback regarding the fact they charge a lot of money for boards. If so do you have examples and experiences to share?

Hi! Sorry I don't have an answer, only the same question.
I've been for a year in Gran Canaria now (little surf), and before that in Indonesia for six months (a hell of a lot surf).
Please keep in touch, if u like!!!

Thats where we were a couple of months ago and it was pumping! I think you'll find that the airlines who are caught up in the CHEAP TICKET war will charge through the nose for carrying boards. On our out bound journey we managed to blagg our boards on the plane for free, but flying home we got charged £30 per board. Pretty expensive seeing that out tickets only cost around£45.El palmar is a beautiful, peaceful place. It's like old Spain. BEWARE OF THE DOGS!!
