Your going to want to surf the Costa Del Muerte (Coast of Death). It starts in around Artexio and continues down the North West part of Galicia all the way to Vigo and the border of Portugal.

Good places include: Caion (beautiful small fishing village, Waves are decent and the undertow is mild) Razo beach is nice when it is going off, which is not all the time. Nemina is very good (from what I hear, but I haven't surfed there yet.)

I hear from Vigo surfers that there are great spots down there. Might be a good place to look as well.

The water is cold here, so bring your suit. Best waves are in Sep-Oct, but good fun to be had all year.

The costa da muerte is not one of the best areas in galicia, although there are a number of reasonable, uncrowded spots around. I reckon your best bet is "LAS RIAS ALTAS´" which includes spots such as Doniños and Pantin.North of Ferrol and as far as Cedeira, there are some humbling waves, especially later on in the year,(oct, nov, dec). At these times, the line-ups are virtually empty. If the wind is blowing from the south-east, you can basically pick where you want to surf!
