I read an article on a surfmag talking about a wave down in Barcelona, on the beach of Barceloneta. Geografically that wave looks to be really hard to work. As anyone surfed there?

As far as I know that spot doesn't exist any longer. The local government in Barcelona had plans to put in wave breakers to protect the shoreline, and it would have had the added effect of cancelling out any wave activity in Barceloneta.

There were big protests by the surf community, so not sure if the government went ahead with the project or not. I moved to Galicia when all this was happening.

Ok, so now i´ve moved back to Barcelona, and yes there is a wave breaker out in the water. Saw no good wave activity, which is a shame.
