Surf in Balearics ?

Hi,
I'd like to know if anybody knows if it's actually possible to surf around Palma de Mallorca in Spain.  I'm just a beginner so I don't need big waves but I'm going there for the summer and I'd like to know if there is anything happening there...
Thanks
Mitch

There is surf in Mallorca, but not a big chance of finding anything rideable in the summer, it will probably be flat for months

RE: Surf in Balearics ?

hi,
for sure there is some surfing in Mallorca, but in summer you have to go to the north side of the island. There is a spot called Cala Mesquida where you can have at least a surfingday per week or even more. But remember that you are in the mediterranian sea and that means that you can have a month without any sign of a wave.
Anyways if you need some help just e-mail me when you get to the island :   [email protected]
good luck and keep surfing!!
