Hey whats up just curious as to which island in canaries are the best to surf...Im either picking Fuertaventura or Lanzarote...I am concerned about wind and and overall conditions. It seems as though the wind can really blow it out even if it's offshore... If anyone has any input about either place or anything at all I would appreciate it greatly...

Been to both several times, and always scored better conditions on Lanzarote.

The surfing there is indeed centerd around Famara, a good variety of spots to choose from, and some offer good protection from winds that get too strong.
Have fun

So im thinkin fuerteventura b/c of airfare board fees its a bit more do-able price wise. Just curious about a couple of things A. I am hoping to camp are there good spots, designated campsites or can I camp anywhere? Secondly, how are the east and south west coast. There seems to be no real listed spots there but if I can get some uncrowded waves there I would take a drive? Which brings me to my last question a full drive from one side of the island to the other usually takes about how long? Thanks for all the help!!! MOST APPRECIATED
