What wetsuit needed in canaries in march?

Hi,

I am a cold water surfer,

I plan to go to the Canaries in March.
Do I need a springsuit? I have a polypro hooded thermal rashvest, could I just get away with board shorts and the polypro vest?

Thanks.

if you are used to cold water, then yes I think you can get away with it.

otherwise a spring suit is better

hey dude. water in the canaries is pretty consistently warm but it does get a bit chilly if the wind gets up so any type of rashie will be sweet if its windy. need any more info about canaries let me nknow . i was there a few months ago and it rocked. hard.

Ok thanks for the advice, I am initially going to one of the islands not known for surf but apparantly there is some.
But I stop in Tenerife for a few days before, to get a springsuit and check out a break or two.

I should be near Puerto de La Cruz in Tenerife for a few days.
